i've been using this little guy on the d800e as a walk-around combo. it's tiny (barely extends beyond the flash/prism head!) and makes a medium-sized dslr like the d800 or d700 much more likely to come out and about with me.

i rarely process to b+w - so this is perhaps not an exemplary conversion. but check out the detail at the far left of the frame... individual bricks can be counted on a building hundreds of meters distant.
